The NFL preseason does not technically mean all that much when it comes to records, but don’t tell that to the Baltimore Ravens.

The Baltimore Ravens have dominated the NFL preseason in a way that no other team ever has in the history of the NFL, winning an NFL record 24 consecutive NFL preseason games going back to 2015. And as league insider Adam Schefter of ESPN points out, they have a chance to extend that streak this week with a showdown against the Washington Commanders.

“Heading into tonight’s matchup vs. the Commanders — for whatever it’s worth and whatever it means — Baltimore now has won an NFL record 24 straight preseason games. The Ravens last lost a preseason game Sept. 3, 2015,” Schefter said in a tweet.

Obviously, the Baltimore Ravens would prefer to have a regular-season winning streak spanning 24 games, but it’s still an impressive record nonetheless. And as a result, the NFL world had plenty to say about it on social media this week.

It’s worth noting that throughout the Ravens’ 24-game preseason winning streak, they’ve beaten Washington more than any other team in the league, notching six preseason wins against the team since the 2015 season.

We’ll have to see how this matchup turns out.
